CN Tower flashback to our last day in T.O.

On our last day in Toronto, we wound up with time to spare.  As we approached the city the night before,  Everett asked if we could go see the CN Tower. I said maybe... we'd have to see, but of course we can see it right now, look... he said, no - i mean can we go to the top?

We went to bed.
Uncle J helped me craft an ingenious plan of travel by car, subway, streetcar and foot.
GUT said... Be sure to ride at the very front of the subways!
We visited my dear friend Kate over lunch at a playground with a splashpad!

We took the subway to the downtown core. Underground and overground we walked and rode and walked some more until we arrived.

We bought tickets.  We stood in long lines.  We took the speed elevator. We made it to the top.  We did it!

The views!

The glass floor!

The roundhouse you can see from the glass floor!

The city is hot in July!
The streetcar ride iced the cake, especially with Uncle J riding his bike alongside, guiding us to the stop.  We shared a lovely meal prepared by Auntie Erika and the boys took a nice bath in the new bathtub.  We went back to GUT's house and hopped on a plane the next day.  Whew.
